I'd like to post a question which doesn't have to do with this entry - Am I right in thinking that a heart transplant patient cannot get angina, given that there are no afferents?

Yes, actually with a bit of persistence I found some info on this issue. For example, 'Evidence for functional sympathetic reinnervation of left ventricle and coronary arteries after orthotopic cardiac transplantation in humans.' 1995. Circulation, 91(1):72-8.
